It's Beautiful, Man!
Check out new concept art!

Greetings!
We’re excited to share some new concept art for Victory’s Grave: Outflank! The current build of the game looks good, but there’s still work to be done. The illustrations here will give you a better idea of what we hope the finished game will look like.
We also visited GZ Chop Shop Podcast for a fun talk with Greg Stokes who’s a fan of the work Matt and I did on the Tom Clancy franchise. Please check that out, and check out their newsletter, too!

It’s Beautiful, Man!
Set in Europe at the height of the Cold War, Victory’s Grave takes place after a global blackout sets off fighting between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces. Led by the American military, NATO forces push east across Germany and into Poland. In just a few months, without electricity, the weak Soviet infrastructure collapses.
But now the continent is full of fighters who are cut off from their command, abandoned in a world dying from starvation and disease. These men and women must now choose. Do they still serve their respective countries? Or will they take matters into their own hands?
These first to images are from our co-development partners at TransPerfect Gaming. They really give an idea of what the gameplay should look like.

Below is a new character concept from comic book artist Nik Virella. We want the players’ colors to be very strong for player identification and team spirit, but there will still be a lot of equipment and uniforms authentic to the 1980's setting.

GZ Chop Shop
The other week we had a great time talking with Greg Stokes of GZ Chop Shop, going through our careers and talking about game development in general. If you’re interested in learning more about the industry or know someone who is, this’ll give an inside peek on what it’s been like for Matt and myself.
And if you’re into all things video games, please check out their Press Play Gaming Newsletter.
We appreciate all of your support, and if you’re able to support us financially or know someone who could, our equity crowdfund is still open through March. We did reach our target goal of $40,000. Our next goal is $150,000, which will help us complete our vertical slice, a build of the game that showcases one complete level. Visit the crowdfunding page.
See you in the next dispatch!
