Big Playtest Incoming!

We’re still working at getting the pre-alpha version of Victory’s Grave: Outflank into the hands of playtesters, and in our continued search for more gamers who are also veterans, we went to the VFW.

The VFW has definitely changed in the 20 years since we left the Army. Every veteran knows their local chapter has cheap beer, but more and more VFWs are hosting video game events. In 2023, the VFW launched Combat Tested Gaming, an esports league and online community for veterans, active-duty, and reserve members. Players join via Discord for weekly leagues, events, AI-coached play, livestreams, and Q&A sessions. They have a Madden 25 league this Fall, and we’re excited to bring some of their players to Outflank.

The CTG Victory’s Grave: Outflank playtest is September 19th, but we’ve already had a few members, like JaguarXG, join in. Check out his stream here, and if you’re a veteran, you can join their Discord server to find some competition.

We’re excited to welcome Sam Strachman as the new Narrative Director for Victory’s Grave: Outflank!

As a Narrative Director, Sam has shaped the narratives of some of the biggest franchises in gaming, including Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and Bungie’s Destiny. With a Sam in our lineup, the world of Victory’s Grave is about to get deeper and a lot more dangerous.
