Point Park University Playtest Recap

On October 23rd, we headed to Point Park University for an exclusive Victory’s Grave: Outflank playtest, and the students there absolutely delivered. They jumped right in, brought serious energy to every match, and gave us some of the most insightful feedback we’ve had yet.

From map flow to weapon balance, the students offered detailed, thoughtful notes that are already helping us refine the game. Our Community Manager Anthony was on-site, running matches and leading feedback discussions, and Point Park put on an extremely professional stream.

Big thanks to Point Park for showing up ready to play and to make Outflank better. You all set the bar high for future playtests!

The Point Park University playtest also marks the launch of Old Glory Academy, a new program that connects college esports teams with the Victory’s Grave: Outflank development team.

Through the Academy, schools can host private playtest events where their student athletes get an early look at Outflank and compete in live matches. Each event also includes a guest lecture from one of our veteran developers, who shares stories and lessons from years in the game industry.

It’s a fun, competitive way for schools to engage their players and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern shooter comes together.

If you know a program that would be a great fit, send them our way! They can learn more or request an event here.

If you haven’t already, wishlist Victory’s Grave: Outflank on Steam. Thanks for being part of the Old Glory community. Keep following us here to stay in the loop for future playtests, updates, and announcements!

We’ll see you in the next Dispatch!
